This would involve a periodic (usually monthly) coaching of the leadership team. It most often includes the following:
Monthly check-in’s for each leader to share their progress and challenges with their “slice” and their individual development goal. Support and coaching would be provided by George and the team mates.
Accountability to move the vision forward. No part of the vision or plan is allowed to “drift.” There is tremendous team commitment.
Roles for running this part of the meetings are rotated so that everyone has a turn leading the meeting, being time keeper, etc.
My role is to help coach both individuals and the team as they experience roadblocks, challenges, better ways of supporting each other, and not letting the team accept anything less than full success with reaching this vision.
I also often introduce a leadership skill each time based on what the team most needs. This would be an actionable, interactive piece. So the team members will be growing in leadership skills and applying these skills to their specific cross-functional goals.
I can also be available for 1-1 coaching for any of the leaders outside of these team sessions. These can be scheduled or on an as needed basis.
