I have found George Fleming's weekly coaching to be extremely helpful in my search for satisfying work along the lines of a vocation. I first heard George give a lecture on the "10 Ways to Attract Your Ideal Job." I was impressed by his insight and humor. Based on this I decided to hire George as a coach. I had a very clear idea of what my vocation and goals were, but I sensed that by utilizing George's coaching services I could be much more successful and effective. This proved to be correct.
The benefits began right from the beginning with our initial foundation session. George and I were able to pinpoint special areas to be aware of and to work on. Goals were set. He assisted me greatly during my job search as it allowed me not to sabotage myself like I had done in the past. Thus I was able to make a realistic strategy for my job search, which involved not only pursing my dreams, but laying out concrete steps to get there.
Along these lines, when I began the actual weekly coaching sessions with George, I have found him to excellent as an objective third eye that could look at my plans and strategy and offer advice as to the best changes to make for effectiveness. These tips George gave invariably proved to be helpful.
I found that by working with George and checking in every week, I became bolder in my job search strategy. By declaring goals every week I found myself motivated to do them in order to report back the following week. In the process of accomplishing these goals I found myself pushing myself and taking risks I wouldn't otherwise have taken.
Every job hunt, no matter how motivated the job seeker is, inevitably hits stalling points or major challenges that appear insurmountable. This is where George/coaching is crucial. With his experience George has a wealth of exercises he suggests to help brainstorm different possibilities and help you get unstuck. Like any good coach he validates what has been accomplished to date and is as supportive as possible.
